To setup a LAMP (Linux Apache MySQL PHP4) server on Ubuntu 6.06 LTS, open a terminal window and do:

  1. sudo apt-get install ssh mysql-server apache2 php4 libapache2-mod-auth-mysql php4-mysql php4-pear
